Art 8
In Art 8, students continue to work with the materials they used in Art 7 and are introduced to new art media as well. They are expected to produce work of increasing sophistication, in terms of both originality and art skills. The class meets 2 days per week for the year.. Examples of art media that may be explored include graphite pencils, color pencils, markers, tempera, watercolor, acrylic paints, crayons, cut paper and oil pastels.
Students will be given rubrics that will outline the steps that must be followed to earn the highest grades possible for each project.
